M. Sadiq debuted as screenplay writer of the first ever Punjabi film in the sub-continent, Heer Ranjha (1932), which was made in Lahore. He was film director, producer and writer of super hit romantic and musical film Baharo Phool Barsao in Pakistan, which became his last film and he died before it was completed, Hassan Tariq made the rest and it was released in 1972.

M. Sadiq (also known as Sadiq Babu) was a successful film director, producer, writer and cinematographer in India. His first film was Namastay in 1943. He got fame from super hit musical film Rattan in 1944. He made some big Indian movies like 14vin ka Chand (1961), Taj Mahal (1963) and Noorjahan (1967) before he migrated to Pakistan. Film Noorjahan was released in Pakistan in 1980.

M. Sadiq was born on March 2, 1911 and died on October 3, 1971 in Lahore.

لیکن 23 مارچ 2017ء کو انھیں موجودہ اور مستقل ڈومین pakmag.net میں ضم کیا گیا جس نے "پاک میگزین" کی شکل اختیار کر لی تھی۔
