The Urdu film Shama (1974) was directed by Nazar Shabab.

Three top Urdu film heroes Mohammad Ali, Waheed Murad and Nadeem were together again in this film, which was a remake of Shabab Keranvi's film Mehtab. Mohammad Ali played the role of Allauddin, Waheed played Habib's role and Nadeem had the negative role of Asad Bukhari. Mehtab's heroines Nayyar Sultana, Rukhsana and Naghma were Deeba, Babra Sharif and Zeba, respectively.
