Aslam Parvez started as a supporting hero with his film name as Zia in famous film Qatil in 1955. Same year he was selected as main hero with Madam Noorjahan and Musarrat Nazir in film Patay Khan. He became very popular film hero and appeared in more movies than any other hero until 1962. He was seen in more than 50 movies as hero. Chann Mahi (1956), Aas Paas (1957), Sheikh Chilli, Chhoomantar (1958), Neend, Koel (1959), Rahguzar, Hamsafar, Mitti Dian Moortan (1960) and Ishq Par Zor Nahin (1963) etc. were some of his big movies as hero.

During his peak period as hero, Aslam Parvez appeared in a negative role in film Saheli in 1960 which helped him to become a top most villain actor in Urdu movies after big numbers of flopped movies as hero until 1964. His last released film was Mohabbat Ho To Aisi in 1989.

Aslam Parvez was born in 1932 in a Kashmiri family in Lahore. His father was owner of famous Rattan cinema and he married actress Khawar Sultana. He died on November 21, 1984 after he was injured one week before in a car accident with Iqbal Hassan.
