Shahid

Shahid was very handsome film hero. He was introduced in film Ek Raat (1972) but first released film was Aansoo (1971). He was popular in both Urdu and Punjabi films in the 1970s. Some of his other big films were Tehzeeb (1971), Umrao Jan Ada (1972), Anmol (1973), Shabana (1976) and Uff Yeh Bivian (1977).

Shahid was born as Shahid Hameed and married to Munaza. His affairs with Zamurrad, Ishrat Chodhary, Babra Sharif, Seema, Firdous etc. were in media headlines. He is father of famous TV anchor Kamran Shahid.

Shahid was born on July 24, 1950 in a landlord family in Lahore.
