Super Stars era started..

With the success of the first Platinum Jubilee Urdu film "Armaan" a new era was started, it was Waheed Murad, who became the most papular stylish film hero in the country.
Mohammad became other super star with the success of Aag ka Darya.
Sabiha, Santosh and Darpan appeared in their last hit films in main roles; Sawaal, Lori and Payel ki Jhankar, respectively.

  • Zeba and Mohammad Ali married on September 29th.

    Debutants:
    Actors: Sangeeta in Koh-e-Noor, Ghazala in Baghi Sardar, Sufia Bano in Azadi ya Mout and Rafi Khawar (Nanha) in Watan ka Sipahi after his success in TV comedy play "Alif Noon". Haidar (and his brother Khalid) were introduced in their fathers film "Hamrahi".
    Musicians: Top musician Nazir Ali's first film Paidagir was released.

  • Two big names in the singing world were introduced; Mujeeb Alam in "Jalwa" and Runa Laila in "Hum dono" while Masood Rana reached the peak of his career, he was totally dominating male singer in both Urdu and Punjabi films.

    An amazing performance by playback singer Masood Rana who sung 7 songs, 6 of them were all time super hit songs, music critics called him "Pakistani Rafi" and he is ranked as one of three all time greatest singers in Pakistan.
    A memorable film with President Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan and his famous speech on the morning of Watch Movies OnlineSeptember 6th, 1965 when Indo-Pak War irrupted, some scenes from the battlefield and many leaders, including Foreign Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Air Marshal Noor Khan, Chief of Army Staff Gen. Moosa Khan, Prime Minister of China Zhou Enlai and President of Indonesia Mr. Sukarno were seen on the silver screen and in thebackground was the patriotic song "Yaad karta hai zamana unhi insano ko..".
    Ironically this films was a copy of an Indian film "Dosti" and the story was about two disabled persons and their friendship.
